My blog had been installed as the root directory of my domain, so it appeared as http://www.mydomain.com instead of http://www.mydomain.com/wordpress; the host provider did this for me, and it was working fine for several days when it was just gone, with this error displayed: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /home/urant0/public_html/index.php on line 3"
After replacing the index page in the root directory with a clean index.php the error message was gone, but only a white page appeared.
I've followed several similar cases in these forums, but they remain unresolved, usually with the user saying,"Well it's okay now" without any @#*da*mned explanations!
Should I wait for another miraculous healing? <G>
Thanks in advance!
