Site hacked, WP vulnerability?

    Hello, I’ve just found that my site at http://buildmybrand.net has been hacked.

    As far as I can see it’s server-side rather than a domain name registration hack.

    at the bottom of the “hacker’s page” is says

    call to undefined function wp () in wp-blog-header.php line 14

    is this relevant?

    Thank you. laliz.

    The host said it was just the index.php that was changed and replacing it with the default one fixed it. The host said that I should keep everything updated but it was only WordPress that was out of date and the update had only been a few days ago. The host didn’t mention the outdated Apache. Thinking of changing host.
