• On or about May 2, 2015, my WordPress site was hacked and went down. I contacted FatCow and we did a SiteLock clean, clear and protect, followed by some FatCow rehabilitations to aid in bringing the site back up. The site was down about two days. Since the restoration, Sliimstat tracks data differently than before. Before, US pageviews ran about 30% per month. After, about 90% US pageviews per month. Before, random peaks during the day. Now, most of the activity happens consistently in the evening hours (between 6 and 9 pm — I am in Central US time zone). Overall, the number of pageviews is up by about 20% on a monthly basis (which appears to be a good thing), but I suspect this is an artifact of something having happened to the Slimstat installation and the results presented. Is there a recommended set of actions to clean, invigorate and normalize Slimstat after a hack? Grandpa Jim http://www.unclejoestories.com
