Site hacked at Arvixe. Help restoring

    Hello there,
    My site http://www.bhopale.com was hacked into recently at arivxe hosting. They have finally decided to restore the backup after 3 days but I cannot access any menu items like theme, title etc. When clicked on the options from wp-admin it says file not found. Howver the site is displaying all the posts, but with junk hacked messages in title and footer.

    What do I restore this ? Please help

    I’ve had a lot of hacked sites lately. Maybe the hack is in the plugins. It sounds like it might be in your backup too. Try going in using ftp and removing all of the plugins. You can reinstall them later.

    most cases hacking come from plugin. would suggest check log for unusual entry or post submit etc..
