Site hacked

  • I hadn’t checked on my site in a while, and when I did, this is what I saw:

    beccapieters.com

I can’t even log into the back end. It just takes me to that same page. I’m not really sure what I should do. I’ve been trying to weed trough FAQ’s and such, but there’s so many different ways sites can be hacked, I’m not sure what steps to take in this case.

I have a backup of my site on my Mac HD, and there honestly isn’t a whole lot of content anyway. I probably wouldn’t cry if I had to start from scratch. I just want that scary page off of my domain and to know how to prevent this from happening again!

Will deleting all the wordpress files in Filezilla, then reinstalling wordpress and re-uploading my backed up wordpress files do the trick? I am afraid to do anything unless I’m sure! (I am not terribly savvy in this area).

Any help would be great! Thanks!
