For some strange reason today one of the sites I helped a buddy of mine is down. They don't have access to a lot of things so I doubt they did anything but what is bizarre is that it just happened (out of the blue?) Anyway, here's the error message:

Warning: require_once(/homepages/3/d94826122/htdocs/ASNewSite/wp-settings.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/3/d94826122/htdocs/ASNewSite/wp-config.php on line 90

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/homepages/3/d94826122/htdocs/ASNewSite/wp-settings.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php6') in /homepages/3/d94826122/htdocs/ASNewSite/wp-config.php on line 90

I searched the usual google hits and found tables in wp_options that might have been changed but everything looks fine. I am not sure if this is due to it is in a subdomain BUT I have the host to point to the subdomain's folder. By the way, shouldn't need to be in a subdomain but the original site was and since the new site was not live I assigned a folder to keep all WP in one place (ASNewSite). I really need some huge help please!!

Note: in wp_options the line 1 and line 37 still point to http://new.autoshowcaseweb.com and not http://new.autoshowcaseweb.com/wordpress as some posts suggested

Maybe your hosting company changing some kind of settings or upgraded PHP?

I don't know :( this is annoying because it was working in this setup for at least a month (since their go-live). Any ideas I could try? The admin tools for the site shows that is running PHP 5.4

If it happend out of the blue, then I think only your host support can help you. Something must have changed.

If the site options is pointing to a different URL, might want to verify changing the URL
