Site Displays Blank

Hello,

I’ve done two days or research trying to fix this issue, and cannot handle anymore, especially given the internet in Ghana. I get a blank page when I upload my website to http://www.riseupghana.org.

So here we go:

I’ve uploaded all the wordpress files onto my server 2-3 times. I’ve also uploaded, deleted, and reuploaded a few databases. So I can’t imagine I’m missing a file somewhere.

I have renamed my plugins folder on my server to “shesheplugins” and tried the site, still no pages.

I edited my function.php to change the excerpt length. Someone said that gave them the blank page so I took that out and uploaded that file. Still no luck.

I removed an extra line at the end of wp_config.php and still nothing.

I should add when I edit my username, dbname, and password in config.php to the servers settings and try to load localhost/wordpress I get the same blank screen. I thought it would produce a database issue, but maybe not. I don’t know.

Occasionally my cpanel and FTP won’t connect. Like now. I don’t know if that’s just Ghana internet or if it means something. Its really frustrating though.

I contacted my web host support and they said nothing was showing up and my error_log didn’t show any issues either.

I’d really like to get this site online. The entire Riseup crew is waiting and everyday we meet people who ask us about our website. I’ve been working on it almost every hour the past two days. Nothing else even sounds fun.

I’d really love any help anyone can offer.
