# Site Description

 * If you Google search my URL [http://www.gettinoutdoors.com](http://www.gettinoutdoors.com),
   Google shows the proper site description. If I try to share my URL on Facebook,
   Facebook generates a snippet all about my hosting provider, not MY site description.
   What gives?

 * Perhaps you could ask Facebook about this. I’m afraid that most of the time FB
   does its own thing and does not honour <sarcasm>little things like meta descriptions
   </sarcasm>. It causes no end of frustration to many site owners.

 * had to get FB to re-crawl my site. it Worked!
