Site crashed when updating theme

    I use Hatch; was updating automatically and site crashed; what should i do, just replace the theme on my server? silly question but don’t very good at it and don’t wanna make things worse.

    Yes remove or re-upload a fresh download of the theme by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    are you using the latest WordPress version?

    if not, update to wp3.4.1

    many up-to-date themes are using functions introduced in wp3.4 which will lead to errors if used in wp less than 3.4

    Looks like your theme might conflict with one of your plugins or WordPress itself. Rename the theme folder so WordPress can switch back to the default theme (twenty ten or twenty eleven).

    I removed theme; and still the same.

    ok, i managed to get it back, thank you for all suggestions.
