I have just installed W3 Total Cache via ftp (problems with installing from Dashboard) and now all I get is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_init() in /var/www/ on line 409

I have removed the plugin via ftp, but it seems to make no difference.

Somebody advised me to rename the remaining plugins via ftp – but I am afraid of making more problems…

Any idea on what to do?

Clear cache and cookies and try again to access your site. Use different browsers, devices/PC, and even network.

If nothing helps, rename the plugins folder by adding -old or something like that.

Don’t worry, your site and its contents are stored in your database.

Backup your site so that you can restore if something goes wrong.

    Thank you, Krishna 🙂

I hope your site is quite OK now!

    Thank you Krishna

I was sp stressed out and ended up paying someone to fix it for me 🙂 But the next time I will fight it myself 🙂
