Just did an update on http://www.SourceComicsAndGames.com – and Mantra stopped working.

At least some part of it did…for some reason after the update, it had removed all my widgets from the active areas and put them in the inactive area – luckily it didn’t delete any of them. Was able to just drag them back in.

But the part that I can’t figure out is that the Cryout columns thing stopped working – all pages in which I was using them just display those tags as text, without formatting the page into columns as before – and the button for Cryout columns doesn’t even appear in the page editor.

    Help!

OK, update here…it appears that the host (Bluehost) is royally effed up right now, and at the moment I can’t even get into the admin console for the hosting.

My guess is that something was going downhill there at BH while I was doing the update. So here’s my question now…once BH comes back up, I’m thinking I should delete and re-install the Mantra theme? And if that makes sense, is there a way I can retain my settings for the theme while doing that?

BH back up…backed up my Mantra settings, deleted the theme, re-downloaded it, restored my Mantra settings…but the Cryout columns issue still exists.

    Helps please!

OK, so now I don’t think it has anything to do with the BH outage at all…not only is SourceComicsAndGames.com displaying the issue after updating, but now FAB1Metalworks.com is too.

Something is fundamentally off here…could really use some assistance.

    …and another one:

Anyone else seeing this? Only the first site is on Bluehost – others are on Dreamhost. Seeing 100% failure rate on Mantra as I do updates on my sites…

    Very large problem.

OK, I get it now. Might have been nice to have had a banner notification at the top of the admin page or something to make sure people knew that happened though.

Thanks for this. My site has been dead for about 5 weeks now. It’s working again as of today but I found that lots of mantra stuff wasnt working. Thanks for finding this out & posting it up here!
