In the CMS on the Site Basics tab, I can’t not set my site image. It has a red failed to retrieve media message and the dialog and button is greyed out so i can not upload a new one.

I believe it was originally set to an image that was manually removed from the uploads folder. Any ideas how i can get round this and clear it so i can set a new image?

    Many thanks
    Nick

PS. Am using Version 20.8 on latest version of WP 6.2.2

    Hello @nsmleap

I’m sorry about your experience on the Site Basics page; I’d expect there to be an option to Replace image or Remove image. Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Maybellyne, Thanks for your reply.

As you can see the option is where it should be to upload an image, or replace the existing one, but there is a failed to load media message(as the old media does not exist) and i can not do anything to add a new one.

    KR Nick
