# Site backup complete?

 * Hi, I’d like to completely backup my website including Woocommerce, settings,
   themes, comments. I know there’s 2 parts to back up: Files and the database.
 * I will use Cpanel Backup Wizard for the home directory and database, will this
   include customizations, comments and settings? Also Does the **Export** function
   in admin need to be used at all?
 * Any help or resources is greatly appreciated. Thanks

 * I will suggest you the better way to download files and DB from WordPress backend
 * Just install this plugin [https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/)
   
   once installed and activated take a backup of the site by selecting all files
   and DB. once the backup is ready you can download it to your machine directly.

 * As long as you have the files *and* the database, you don’t need the export.
