    Hello, good citizens of WordPress.

I am a front-end dev who recently got more involved with WordPress and started exploring it. I must say, I’m starting to like it, especially with the new UI. Anyway, back to what I came here for: a solution. I’ve scoured the web looking for something feasible but to no avail.

So, say, I have a site structure/hierarchy like this:
Root > custom post type > category > post

Ideally, viewing a post would give us a permalink like this:
    domain.com/custom-post-type/category/post-slug
… but it instead works like this, omitting the category slug:
    domain.com/custom-post-type/post-slug

Is there a work-around to cater to a concept like the above? Do I have to implement URL rewriting in order to get “pretty” URLs like that? It’ll be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

    Thank you in advance!
