• I have a site called http://go-sail.org/, registered through go-daddy.com using the following URL to forward to:
    http://71.236.195.251/go-sail/wordpress/(forward with masking)

I run the latest version of wordpress on my QNAP TS259 here in my house on a cable modem with the external IP address of 71.236.195.251.

If I put the site URL and the address URL in wordpress to:
    http://71.236.195.251/go-sail/wordpress

Everything works just fine, but like my site icon doesn’t work
If I try and chance the site URL to http://www.go-sail.org, the posts disappear and the side bar.

If I change both site URL and address URL to the domain name it totally breaks everything.

Can some one answer how the heck this should all be configured? What is the appropriate way to set this all up so it works properly?

What is really weird is after changing these settings and putting them back. Now when one clicks on my pages it takes them to my qnap configuration page …….
