I finally got the upgrade folder deleted, and created a new one, CHMOD’d to 777. However, there was another wp-content folder within my wp-content folder — ex: /public_html/blog/wp-content/wp-content * i deleted the “extra” folder. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause. * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [FTP or SFTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients), navigate to `/wp-content/themes/` and rename everything **except** the `/twentyten/` directory.
