singlepic: force custom style or attribute?

ive looked through the documentation, but aside from width / reflection and coding in styles into css… im unable to find a way to simply change an attribute using the shortcode. is this possible?
the point is, that the styles elsewhere on the site are fine and i want to continue to use… but once in a while i need to just simply add a border that’s a certain color, and would love to not have the hassle of having a different css for literally once attribute that needs to change rarely.
