# Single.php error

 * I updated to WP 3.0, then tried to install the facebook social plugin. I added
   the code to single.php, but there was an error, so I deleted it, then when that
   didn’t work, re-uploaded single.php
 * It’s still loading the altered version and stops when it gets to <div class=”
   postcontent”> where I had added the facebook code.

 * Not sure what else to try to fix this. Main page of blog loads fine, it’s just
   the single.php / single posts that’s the problem.

 * Try re-uploading the entire theme. You may only be dealing with the single.php
   template file but uploading that alone did not fix your issue.
 * Try this:
    1. Change to the default theme.
    2. Delete the theme that contains the bad single.php
    3. Upload the entire theme
    4. Re-activate it.

 * I tried changing to the default WP theme, but the same problem still exists.
 * I updated to 3.0 before doing this, would that have something to do with it?

 * If you changed to the default theme and are still experiencing the same issue
   then there must be an underlying issue beyond what the plugin was doing.
