# Single.php also changes one post?

 * I was trying to change the catagory page, but instead it changes the page where
   it shows only one post.And not the catagory page.
    How is this possable?

 * not which theme – which template file were you editing?

 * for changes to the category archive, you will likely need to edit index.php (
   the theme does not have an archive.php or category.php template)

   So when I edit the index.php it does not change the catagory page.

 * my mistake – I checked the wrong theme.
 * your theme actually has an **archive.php **which does the archives including 
   the category archive.
 * edit this template,
    or make a direct copy, save it as **category.php **and edit
   that…
