 * How do I modify code for the individual posts pages if I don’t have single.php?
   I’d like to changes fonts , padding, spacing but I can’t find anywhere to do 
   it…
 * please help!! my individual posts are all crazy and unformatted!

 * Not every theme has a single.php, and the ones that don’t use index.php.

 * You can copy the theme’s index.php file and rename it single.php…then start editing

 * thanks for the guidance – now…. once I do that, what should I edit in either 
   the index or single file so that I can alter page look – colors, fonts, line 
   height, etc. ??

 * Colors, fonts etc are usually defined in the styles.css file. You then make reference
   to these “styles” in the index.php or single.php
 * I would suggest you take a little course in CSS. Do a Google search and you’ll
   find everything you need. Good luck!
