# Single WordPress Install for multiple sites(read description)

 * Hello,
 * I was thinking if the structure of WAMP’s www directory similar to:
 * www
    — ClientOne —- siteone —- sitetwo — ClientTwo —- sitethree — ClientThree—-
   sitefour —- sitefive
 * Where “site – one to five” each are WordPress install with their own separate
   dbs.
 * I need to know if – I can have a common wordpress core files set for all of these
   5 sites?
 * – So when there is a new version of WordPress is available I just need to update
   one WordPress Install and it will do that for all of them.
 * – Now I’ve to update them one by one.
 * “”I don’t know WP Multi-sites much.””
    –Is it a solution to what I’m asking for??
 * I want to make it working for my already existing such structure in WAMP’s www
   directory which have about 20 such wordpress installations in different sub-directories.
 * I don’t if what I’m asking makes sense, but if it’s possible it will be really
   help me save a lot of effort.

 * Multisite setup will not work as you will be using one database for all sites
   and will be hassle transfer sites to server.

 * And there’s no way you can have a common set of core files running multiple single
   sites either.
