single-tml_page.php not working as custom template

I just upgraded Theme My Login to the most recent version and expected to be able to use single-tml_page.php as a custom template for login/register pages as the new version introduced the “tml_page” custom post type. However, WordPress is not picking up the template and using it for that post type, it is still defaulting to page.php. I’ve double-checked the template name, the custom post type name set by the plugin (“tml_page”), reset the permalinks multiple times and everything else I can think of with no luck. There are already 2 other custom post types that are successfully using single-custom.php templates.

Help? Thoughts?
