# Single SKU issue

 * HI! We’re setting up our shop and we’re trying to figure out how to manage the
   following issue:
 * – We sell hair accessories and a single product may have multiple color/size 
   combinations. For example, a given hair clip may be available in red or black
   and in sizes S, M, or L. So the following combinations are possible: Red S, Red
   M, Red L, Black S, Black M, Black L
 * – It is hence ESSENTIAL that each product combination have its own SKU. For example:
   Red S SKU 001, Red M SKU 002, Red L SKU 003, Black S SKU 004, Black M SKU 005,
   Black L SKU 006
 * – The problem is that WP e-commerce does not create unique SKU’s for each of 
   the combinations. They just have 1 SKU for all of the combinations for a particular
   product.
 * We are looking for possible solutions to create separate SKU’s for each product
   combination. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
 * PS: I think that it’s just incredible that WP programmers did not account for
   such a basic thing… we use WP to set up e-commerce site after all! We should 
   be able to assign a stock value to each of our product… man! Anyway… please help…
