I am an admin for a site with a large-ish blog, and Relevanssi has been generally performing very well. But one particular post–which happens to be unique in that it has its own post template, but it is not a custom post type–never shows up in searches, and I can’t figure out why.

The post itself (added as the page I need help with) never shows up even if you search for its exact title, and the Relevanssi settings are set to AND as the default operator, and matches in titles are weighted higher than matches elsewhere.

Here is the site’s search page template: https://pastebin.com/sF1dERcJ

Although the post uses a custom template, all of its content is in the database and the Relevanssi index is not set to exclude its category or post id. The Relevanssi index has been rebuilt, but this has no effect.

Any ideas about what to do next would be appreciated.

If I search with the exact title, it’s result #6. Looks like it’s poor performance with the word “library” makes it drop down in the the results; searching for “Development Annual Report for 2017” gets it back to spot #1 again.

I’m guessing your title weight bonus is not very big; you can make it bigger to make the post perform better in the full title search.

Excellent–thanks very much. Looks like I should examine my stop words, too.
