single paragraph excerpts

    I’m trying to make my main index page only display the first paragraph of my featured posts.

    For example at thegriffonnews.com under Opinion, I would like to only display the first paragraph of the posts that are featured there.

    In the post, we use a double return to space between paragraphs.

    Any suggestions?
