Support » Plugin: Very Simple Event List » Single page shortcodes with Elementor

  • Hi, i would like to make a tempplate for the singe event pages with Elementor. With Elementor i would like to use the dynamic fields “date, time, location, etc”. Is there an option for this or are there shortcodes possible (if so do yoou know the shortcodes) to display the information?

    Thank!

    Hi,

Although my plugin has basic support for Elementor, it does not have full support for adding individual fields (such as date, time, location) to a custom template. Especially the date field requires some extra coding before the date is properly being displayed.

Only Elementor PRO has support for custom post type templates, I don’t have a PRO license. But as far as I know you are able to select the custom fields (such as date, time, location) while creating a single event page in Elementor editor… am I right?

No, I was wrong. Those are the additional ACF fields.
So I don’t think it’s possible to list individual fields of my plugin in a custom Elementor template.

    Thanks for your quick reoply.

I do have Elementor Pro but can’t find the option.

I did found out when i use the “page content” part that the date etc are displayed on the left side, next to the content part. I’m also happy with this.

Being able to use the dynamic fiels would be better because then i can add some icons as well. But this is oke!

    Hi,

I cannot find the “page content” feature in the Elementor settings, guess it’s part of PRO.. But I understand why that works, because that seems to be the regular content section (the the_content() filter) and my plugin hooks into that filter to display the meta section and such.

With the ACF plugin you can add extra fields, the most commonly used fields are supported by my plugin.

    Looks great. Thanks
