Hi there, I’m having an issue with the EPL plugin since one of the recent updates.
I’m not sure at which point this problem occurred as I hadn’t viewed any listings for a number of months.

I am using the Pexeto Story Theme (regretting it now) and when I view a single property listing, the content is shown 3 times on the page. The first two times are full width with no images and the 3rd time is displayed correctly (as it used to).

Another odd thing is, when inspecting the source code, the first two instances of content appear to be within the ‘head’ of the code, not the body!

The URL of an example page is http://austinbaker.co.uk/commercial/12-section-office-block-holbury/. None of the listings are part of the live site yet so they contain dummy content.

I have managed to discover the issue – the Yoast SEO plugin is the culprit.

It looks like the ‘Meta Description’ section on Yoast needs to be filled with something on EVERY listing otherwise the entire contents of the property is inserted in the head of the page twice!

The neatest workaround is to go to the ‘Post Types’ section in Yoast’s ‘Titles and Metas’ settings and make sure there is something in the description box for your listings.

It also could be due to the plugin Theme Compatibility mode. Best solution is to follow the Theme Setup guide for full integration. We don’t have that particular theme to generate them for you.

Drop a support ticket and supply a link to the theme via Dropbox / similar so we can generate the templates and add to the theme directory

    Great looking site BTW

    Thanks!

Unfortunately the theme files don’t match up to anything from the Theme Setup guide so I think I’ll just stick to Compatibility Mode, as it now works just fine.

    Many thanks.
