Single Link issue

All the events get a permalink slug and the event page doesn’t seem to be able to look up the event via the event_id. Not sure if I have things configured incorrectly or if it doesn’t work with the version of WP?? I’m new to this and quite confused, any help greatly appreciated!!

This still doesn’t seem to work. I want each event on the page to link to their post, but now it just displays them in a one item list. Is there a short code I need in the page that displays the event?
I want the first event to link to page that looks like this:
http://pinball514.com/wp/events/north-star-major-league-week-1/I thought that I would need something like:
http://pinball514.com/wp/events/?event_id1=12But that doesn’t work either, sorry still trying to get my head around WP in general too…
