# Single event template (Blocks Editor) issue

 * The single event template (Blocks Editor) doesn’t show Featured Image in single
   event view.
 * I do recognize I should be able to overwrite this using a custom template, but
   believe it is an issue that should be addressed from the plugin level.

 * Could you confirm if the featured image shows up correctly on the event edit 
   page and for the same event it does not show up on the single event view on the
   front end?

 * I am confirming that when using Gutenberg to create an event:
    1. the featured image displays “correctly” (assuming the correct display is the
       image appearing under the “Featured Image” section)
    2. the featured image does NOT display on the single event page
    3. the featured image DOES display on hover in the calendar
 * …of note, when I did an “Inspect” on the page, there was NO code to display the
   featured image on the single event template.
 * Here is a snippet of the output on the page:

 * My assumption based on the screenshots is that the code for the featured image
   SHOULD have appeared before the Heading (`<h1>`) tag.
 * You can let me know if the System info is still necessary.

   we can look at your website and your setup, as I am not able to replicate this
   issue on my test site.

 * Issue SEEMS to have been resolved by toggling OFF Gutenberg editor and toggling
   the “updated views” option and going through the update.
