 * Hello Guys,
 * I’d like to know a method to accomplish the following scenario.
 * There is a host. _(Ex hostgator.com)_
There is a domain _(Ex. keebod.com)_ There
   is a Database _(Ex. wp\_mainsite)_
 * On the navigation-bar, there would be links like About, Home, Contact, Forum,
   Blog, and “my_app”
 * Things about About, home and contact come under basics and got no problem.
 * The problem is with the rest of the sections.
    I would be installing bbPress
kinda bulletin board linked to the “forum button”. I would be installing wordpress
3.04 to a directory linked to “Blog button”. I would be installing wordpress
3.04 to a directory linked to “my_app button”.
 * Now, the original website _(keebod.com in my example)_ is already a wordpress
   install, though 2.9 version.
 * Will this setup workout? And how to accomplish this either the clean way, or
   the dirty way..?
 * Thanks a lot in advance, and regards,
    Keeb.

 * I see no reason why you can’t use one install.
 * The blog “button” can be a link to the blog posts archive. So can the my_apps.
just… make your posts for the app in the app category.

 * The problem is that I don’t have access to the original domain.
    My access would
only be for the ‘my_app’ section within the whole website where I have to create
an app. When the user clicks that section’s button, only from then on, my work
   is gonnabe displayed.
 * So, the confusion is that when I develop locally, should I be installing wordpress
in a folder called “my_app”, and then work on the creation?
 * Or, should i just create the html site for the app, and give it to the developer
dealing with the original wordpress website (keebod.com example)

 * Talk to your client’s developer and see how they are going to manage that link
on their menu. Is it to a single page? Another install?
 * They are the ones who are deciding, so me telling you which way to go is… guessing,
   at best.
 * And without knowing what your app even *is* (a flash game? A wordpress plugin?)
   it’s even harder.

 * Oh, they just call it as an app. In real for me, it would be like a mini-site-
   displayed-within-an-iframe.
 * Other than html/css/jquery/php, there is nothing used to call it as an app. There
would be a hell lotta user input forms from where data would be taken and stored
on the original website’s database. This data would be displayed when the user
log-in and goes to this my_app section.
