Hi @dienste,
There are several variables that can influence this behavior, such as your configuration in the Complianz Wizard and the way in which Google Analytics is currently implemented on your website.
Would it be possible to provide an URL to the website in question, so we can also take a look at the current behavior?
Kind regards,
Jarno
Hi jarnovos!
The site-> http://www.HerrGruenkocht.de
Kind regards
Hi @dienste,
I assume that this behavior is related to two main causes:
#1: Duplicate implementation of Analytics
Your site currently has multiple implementations of Analytics, causing a duplicate pageview on the same “UA” tag. This often results in incorrect data being reported.
You can select whether you want Complianz to place the Analytics script (Wizard > Consent > Statistics – configuration), or if you want to use different implementation, in which case Complianz should not be placing the code as well.
#2: Analytics fired after providing consent
As your website targets German users, the Analytics pageview on your site is only fired upon providing Statistics consent in the Cookie Banner. If you did not require consent for Analytics prior to installing Complianz, that could be an explanation for a reduced amount of Analytics data (although I would expect that #1 is the main issue in this case).
Kind regards,
Jarno

Hi!
I have removed google analytics from Complianz. But nothing changes.
What I also wonder is why the error occurs after more than a year.
Kind regards
it is only tracked normally when I turn off Complianz.
Hi @dienste,
I was just about to have another look at the current behavior after your latest change, but noticed that Complianz had been deactivated.
We would gladly assist further when you re-activate the plugin, feel free to let us know if we can help.
I will mark this as resolved for the time being.
Kind regards,
Jarno
Very nice of you:-)
But too much trouble with the plugin. I need it urgently professionally…and have now switched.
Good luck to you.
Most likely you had configured the plugin to block tracking until consent is given. With google analytics, this is mandatory in Germany. If you want to comply with that or not is up to you of course, and can also be configured in the plugin.
I have been using the plugin for over 1 year. The problem occurred from 17 May. I had not changed anything in the plugin.
If you say you didn’t make any changes, do you mean you didn’t update any of your plugins either? Or auto updates?
I checked the change log for the last two updates, there weren’t any changes regarding google analytics in these updates.
There also have been no reports of similar issues that weren’t caused by the configuration. So I don’t have enough information right now to tell you what the problem was on your site.
If you have a staging site where we can take a look we’re happy to help.
