On Simply Static’s export log, are you seeing any URLs listed that have a 200 code? Or, alternatively, if you check the location of Simply Static’s Temporary Files Directory (you can find the path for it on Settings->Advanced tab) do you see any files in there? That really helps. I’ve added this to my ticket tracking this issue.
