# simply reducing a margin

 * hi,
 * i’m having a very hard time making the gap between two things on my sidebar smaller.
 * the code show’s nothing i can see that is causing the problem.
 * the sidebar is [http://www.rapnews.co.uk](http://www.rapnews.co.uk) and the gap
   is between the poll and the ‘headnod top 5 hits’ list.
 * i’d like the gap between every block of different content in my side bar to be
   the same. this gap i mentioned is larger than the others.

 * Using the FF extension aardvark, looks like it’s maybe in your sidebar h2 – look
   for #sidebar h2, and add to the current elements margin:0; and padding:0, see
   if that helps.

 * Well, okay…. try taking out the `<br />` just before the Headnod h2.
