    I really wanted to like this plugin since it seems really feature-rich and flexible at first glance. But I’ve given up after an hour of trying to get it set up. First of all I struggled to get the calendar to even show up on a test page. In the wordpress page editor the “configure booking calendar” block has several confusingly named fields, then doesn’t seem to do anything at all (preview just shows a blank page with no debugging information or sign of errors). Eventually after manually typing in the default shortcode with no configuration, i.e. [booking] I got the booking form to show up.
    I then tried to add some form fields in the form settings because I needed time slots, and every time I save it the new fields just vanish and are not persisted??
    Overall the development of the plugin seems kind of unprofessional and shoddy, most of the documentation is really unclear and not user-friendly. I would be willing to forgive these for free/open source software but unfortunately it looks like the technical issues would be too much of a headache to use this plugin for any important business. And frankly from a software development perspective, the use of old-fashioned technologies like Bootstrap CSS, jQuery etc don’t show signs of a very professional dev team so I don’t really trust that it won’t break the rest of my site.
    After this experience I can only assume that most of the 5-star reviews are fake.

    1) Please note, its possible to insert the booking form in several ways into the post or page by using the “Booking Calendar blocks” or by inserting booking form via shortcode (with configuration help popup window) into content of the post or page, or manually typing shortcode (by checking info at the FAQ here ).
    Probably first issues of not updating Booking Calendar via blocks was because of conflict with some other plugin, or you do not clicked on Update button after inserting Booking Calendar block.

    2) Please note, after configuration and adding timeslots at the Booking > Settings > Form page you need to click on “Add New field” button (just inside of the the time-slots configuration window). Probably you was clicked on other button “Save changes” button at the bottom of the page, that does not add the timeslots field, but just save changes in exist form, and because of that you was not see the timeslots in the booking form.
