• Installed it, authenticated it, waited for an hour while visitors were clearly coming and going – and all the tables and maps remained blank.

Edit: To be fair, it has since been pointed out to me that the data are not real time and are apparently reported per 24 hours. It has also been pointed out that a further dashboard plugin can provide this real-time functionality.

All the stats plugins I have previously tried have been real-time out of the box. This delayed method isn’t something I would have anticipated. Real time data are crucial for me.

I respect Chris’s response. The problem was that the plugin I have been using for the last two years suddenly nosedived overnight (reporting less than 50% of actual visits) immediately after an update, and the authors of that started asking daft questions. I needed something that worked and which I could trust, so the score I have given is just a representation of my own personal requirement.

    Hi there,
I wish you had reached out to us.

The panel is not a real time panel. It refreshes once every 24 hours and thus you won’t have statistics until tomorrow.

If you need real time data, with MonsterInsights you can look at the real time dashboard found at analytics.google.com
