 * WordPress 3.1
    SimpleMap 2.0.2 Site URL: [http://www.themojack.com/wp/where-to-buy/find-a-dealer/](http://www.themojack.com/wp/where-to-buy/find-a-dealer/)
 * I have a store in my database with the zip code of 67601. When searching within
my selected default of 25 miles, my location is returned as expected. However,
when changing to locations within 10 miles or less, I get “No Results Found”.
Whether it’s 1, 5, 10, 25 or 50 miles, it should still return all stores located
within the 67601 zip code. Yes?

 * Not exactly. It doesn’t know about “zip codes” per say. It works off of Lat/Lng.
So if the starting place on your map is not within 1 mile of the store, it won’t
show up if you’re limiting it to 1 mile. Does that make sense?

 * Does that make sense? Not really (but I’m REALLY tired.)
 * That also may be the reason why I failed to mention that I’m searching by zip
code 67601 only (which is actually 181 miles from my starting location).

 * I’m sorry, starting location may be misleading. I meant the center of the map(
starting on first load) and center on searches.
 * When you type a zipcode into the search from and hit search, i take the zipcode
you give me and send it to google. They translate it into a latitude / longitude
coordinate and give it back to me.
 * I take that lat/lng, center the map on it, and look for all locations based on
the limit you gave in the search.
 * The problem you’re probably having is that google gives back the center of the
zipcode for the lat/lng and your location isn’t within 1 mile of that.
 * Does that make more sense?

 * Yes, sir, that certainly does.
 * Unfortunately, my client is expecting this thing to query each specific field.
Crud…I was really hoping this would work for him.
 * But thank you SO MUCH for your time! I truly appreciate your help!
