# Simplemap plugin

 * I’m using Simplemap plugin that I consider very useful.
    First I’d like to know
   if there is a technical user guide.
 * In particular, I need to insert the map on different pages, each with a specific
   location category. Is there a way to set (pre-set) the location category inside
   a page, so that users only see locations belonging to that specific category?
 * I need then to insert a map inside category.php wordpress file, not therefore
   inside a page or a post. Is there a way to do that?

 * Hi, you can use the categories=3 argument inside the shortcode. See the help 
   page for the plugin in your WP-admin
 * For the PHP code, search the codex for the do_shortcode() function
