[resolved] Simple Trackback Validation htrowing php error (2 posts)

I'm using the latest version (2.1) of the Simple Trackback validation plugin and although it seems to be working it's throwing a single php error when creating the "snoopy" object. This is the error:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: snoopy in /home/longmead/public_html/just-thinkin/wp-content/plugins/simple-trackback-validation/simple-trackback-validation.php on line 158

    Line 158 is: '$stbvSnoopy = new Snoopy;'

I've emailed the author twice about this problem with no reply and I'm not versed enough in PHP to correct the problem myself although I can easily insert a fix if one is suggested to me.

Is anyone else running this plugin in WP 2.3 and seeing this problem? And if so is there a fix or another trackback anti-spam plugin (besides SK 2.3) that I might use instead?

Currently running Aksimet w/ JS SpamBlock and the Simple Trackback Validation plugin.

It's quite easy to fix. You need to include the Snoopy class first. I documented how here: http://ocaoimh.ie/2008/04/03/slow-down-trackback-spam-with-simple-trackback-validation/
