Kept just displaying the shortcode text first off … but solved that issue by wrapping the output with do_shortode()

Hi, It’s not really the plugin’s fault. WordPress Shortcode API is meant to work in the content area:

If you need to use shortcode somewhere else (example: a template file) you can tell WordPress to filter it.
