# Folders with Excel spreadsheets in them

 * Hi,
 * I have a fairly simple problem that is proving difficult to solve.
 * I have a hidden/protected WP site.
 * I need to set up a folder where users can place Excel spreadsheets.
 * This is to be done with the WP plugin File Manager.
 * I need only the user roles of Editor & Admin to be able to access it.
 * No matter where I place the files, I can log in as a subscriber and can access
   it if I have the direct URL.
 * This is despite having the htacces file stopping general directory browsing. (
   which works)
 * The users uploading these files are not “that” PC savvy and changing read/write
   permissions etc is not for them.
 * ANy help appreciated.

 * Wow. Really good plugin. Got it to work on a custom directory but it even blocked
   direct URL to Admin.
 * I need Editors and Admin to have direct browser access.

 * I would suggest asking the plugin support once, maybe they already have such 
   feature and they have better guidelines for you.
