# Simple task – does it well!

 * It adds a field for editing image alt tags directly in the media library window,
   which is great, because there are very few other plugins that offer this functionality.
 * In the next update I’d like to have the possibility to edit image titles in the
   same fashion.
 * Ideally, I’d be able to export a list of images (filename, image title, alt text)
   in csv format, edit image title and alt text fields in a spreadsheet and be able
   to upload it back to the media gallery.
 * Unfortunately no plugin is able to do that.

 * Thank you for reviewing it 🙂 About the title, well, it’s not a big issue to 
   add it but the problem is I can’t change the name of my plugin. I could make 
   a “Media Title Renamer”, but that would be fine? It could use the same “engine”
   in the back though. Do you think that would be fine?
 * The Export/Import is extremely difficult and a very different subject, maybe 
   we could discuss it in the support, I would like to understand it a bit better.

 * As for the export/import function, the idea would be to allow a user to set custom
   image titles and alt text (different from each other) externally in a spreadsheet.
   
   Having the images’ file names in the first column, it would be easy to do things
   such as split and concatenate cells (and any other functions) to use the words
   in the file name in order to create unique image titles and alt text (and different
   from each other) and then drag-copy the formulas from the first row down to the
   last one. When completed the exported csv file could be imported back into wordpress
   and since the filename would not be changed, it would be easy to associate image
   title and alt text for each file name.
 * If the price would be acceptable I’d gladly pay for such a plugin and I’m sure
   I’m not the only one having to fill out or edit countless (hundreds) of images,
   especially in an ecommerce situation.

   saves me some hours of work.
