Simple Tags and multilingual tag problem

I use Polylang to create a bi-language site. I have created some TAGs in Italian and in English. They are connected to each other: the Italian tag with the correspondent in English and so on.
When I create or edit a page in Italian I would expect that the tags that appear in the menu on the right “Tag (Simple Tags)” are filtered in order to display only the tags in Italian; Instead, ALL tags appear regardless of the language selected on the page. The same mixture of language appears in “Click tag”.
I’ve tried other similar plugins (Tag pages, Post Tags and Categories for Pages) and they work fine: if I’m editing a page in English, the selectable tags are filtered and only the English ones are seen.
