    Hi all,

After managing to lock myself out of my own site for a few days [see other threads in my name] I am now finally back in and trying again to set up the site for members and visitors.

Can anyone tell me how to go about making a few of the pages on the site visible to visitors?

Every page except the front page is locked for members only, [even though I have not selected the Members checkbox within the page].

How can I make a page viewable to visitors too?

I did try to add a new level for visitors, but this just made it so it was free for vistors, but they still had to register and login. I want to make it very simple for visitors with no need to login.

    Thanks for any help offered.

Hi, James, I think you are signing up for paid support, and I think we’ll help you get setup.

That said, without a link to your site and more info, I’m not sure exactly what is going on with your site. By default, PMPro shouldn’t lock anything down unless you set a category in the membership level settings or check the require membership level box in the edit post/page screen.

    Hi James,

Just following up to see if I can close this thread.

I’ve seen this happen when used in conjunction with other custom front end login plugins where all the PMPro membership levels is not set up and carefully configured first before applying the settings on the login plugin. Be careful of redirects and caching. All PMPro pages should NOT be cached.
