Simple photo uploading

Hey all,

I’m looking for a simple way to create one page that just shows all the photos that have been uploaded via the media library of WordPress. They should be showed as thumbnails and should be opened in a lightbox. I would like that that page gets updated automatically when new photos are uploaded.
Next to that I’d like a sidebar widget that does show the latest couple of uploaded photos.

I saw some plugins that do show photos in the sidebar, but only when they’re attached to a post or page. And ofcourse I could create a gallery on the same page everytime I want to uploade photos, but it should be possible to do this easier right?

Any ideas? 🙂
