Hi, SLB fully supports WordPress 5.8+. Please provide a link to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take a closer look.

@hafidev As per this forum’s guidelines, please create a separate ticket so that your specific issue can be evaluated without being mixed up with others’ support requests.

    Thank you.

@archetyped thank you so much for your quick reply I really appriciate.

Thanks for the response. Find the ones with the links on image not all of the images are linked to media fine. There are two links I am sharing which should have enough images with media file and it should ideally launch in SLB as they were before.

@makhijajatin it looks like another plugin or the theme is affecting SLB’s lightbox layout. Follow these instructions on identifying plugin/theme conflicts to determine the plugin/theme causing the issue.

If you recently installed/updated a plugin just before noticing this issue, that would be a good place to start.

Let me know the name and link to the conflicting plugin once you’ve identified it, and I’ll see if anything can be done from SLB’s end. However, reporting the issue to the developer of the plugin that is overriding SLB’s layout is likely the best way to fully resolve the issue.

I have disabled all of my plugins except SLB and changed the theme to Twenty Twenty. Literally running the bare minimum now and still the same issue.

Cache is disabled totally so i think its the plugin issue. I will not be able to keep my site like this for longer so i am switching back the plugins and reverted back to the theme which i was using before.

Hi, when viewing the source of the lightbox’s layout HTML in the browser, there is a lot of extra code added to the file, preventing it from working properly.

Please take a look at the themes/baseline/layout.html file in SLB’s directory (via FTP, etc). This file’s contents should match SLB’s default layout file exactly.

If the file contents are exactly the same, then something (plugin, theme, cache, CDN, etc.) is changing the HTML when it is retrieved by the browser. You will need to disable whatever is modifying the output of the file. You may also need to clear the site’s cache and disable any CDN services to ensure that the actual files are being loaded directly.

If the file contents do not match, then something (plugin, theme, cache, CDN, etc.) has modified the actual contents of the lightbox layout file. In this case, deactivating, deleting, and then reinstalling a fresh copy of SLB is recommended.

Note that identifying what (plugin, etc.) is modifying the lightbox layout file is key to avoid the file from being modified again, so disabling other plugins, themes, CDN providers, etc. is recommended before reinstalling SLB. Then you can reactivate plugins, etc. sequentially to determine what is modifying the file.

I tried as per your suggestions compared the files and even replaced it to match with the github one but still the same issue. I have now moved to a new plugin. Thank you for for the help and support so far.

No problem. I hope you are able to determine what plugin is modifying files on your site, as that could lead to more unexpected behavior in the future.
