I currently have the “Custom Field Template (CFT)” plugin installed, and I just installed “Simple Fields”, which I love by the way.

The only problem is that it doesn’t play nice with “Custom Field Template”. When CFT is active, images selected through the media browser are inserted into the post, instead of the “Simple Fields” section.

Any help or direction on solving this issue would be greatly appreciated!

I think our plugins don’t mix. Not the best answer but that’s the way it works right now. You have to choose only one of us. Choose wisely! 😉

The issue is that both plugins are overriding the WordPress’ “send_to_editor” JavaScript function. For one reason or another CFT’s override was overriding Simple Field’s override (if that makes any sense).

Anyways, turns out CFT doesn’t actually use the media selector. It seems as if they intended to one day use it as the only place it’s being called is commented-out.

    SOLUTION:
    Get rid of CFT’s override.

Now we can all get along!

@pär: Thank you for your response anyways.
