Ah, thanks especially for the Elementor feedback! I’m considering adding “if you use a builder” to the readme page, but I don’t want to make any bogus claims about such things. You builder users have enough performance trouble as it is. It would just be wong–unneighborly–mean–to set expectations about this and then not meet them.
I wish the “all in one” performance / cache / optimization plugin authors would be totally upfront about their claims. Even better, I wish their features were distributed as small focused plugin packages, rather than bundled up. Oh well.
for the moment I have 3 sites running with the GeneratePress theme + Elementor + Elementor Pro + WP fastest Cache
on my pro servers no problem
on OVH hosting with opcache activated there was a fatal error
I deleted the cache files by FTP and deactivated the plugin
I didn’t have time to retest and didn’t notice the error
