 * Hi,
 * I try to use the SFC Publish Plugin with a Facebook Fanpage. I think I registered
   successfully my fb-app but when I want to
    ‘Grant Publish Permissions’ I get
   an unknown facebook error: “Unknown error, try again later”
 * I love those plugins and it would be really great to use this one too.
 * Josp

 * Hi Josp,
 * Having the same problem with a client’s site. All works fine on my test site
   and with my profile and my app, but the same error occurs on the other site.
 * Did you ever get this sorted? I read somewhere that this problem may solve itself
   in a day or two…
 * It’s definitely Facebook, not the Plugin.

 * Make sure you got the URL of the site correct in the FB App. It’s picky, even
   wrong caps or presence of an incorrect “www” will break it.
 * Also make sure the App is not in “Sandbox mode”.

 * Still nothing – but I’m waiting patiently for FB to spring into action.
 * Do I need to fill out the Domain field as well as the URL? On my test site it
   works fine without, just wondering about Facebook’s pickiness.

 * Domain isn’t generally required, no.

 * Ah, the plot thickens:
 * Turns out the plugin was working fine all along – it was my method of testing
   that was to blame:
 * On my test site I created a new post, and after publication I could push the
   post to Facebook with no problems. However on my client’s site I tried to push
   a post to Facebook that had already been published before we installed he plugin.
   This doesn’t seem to work.
 * But publishing a new post on the site and then pushing it to Facebook works a
   treat – my client only found this out by chance. Now we know!
 * If any of you guys are having trouble try the new post method first – worked
   for me 😉

 * Auto-publish only publishes new posts, yes.
 * The manual publish buttons work with any post.

 * Hi Otto,
 * That makes perfect sense about auto publish. I was referring to manual publishing
   though – it also doesn’t work with existing posts, which was news to me.

 * Err.. No, manual publish works fine with existing posts.
 * The manual publish button is all javascript, there’s nothing special in the plugin
   about it. It’ll work with any post whatsoever. All it’s doing is generating the
   javascript code to make the Facebook box popup. It doesn’t push the post to facebook,
   you do that, with your browser and your Facebook account, basically. Once the
   button is generated, the plugin has nothing more to do with the manual publish.

 * My problem is the FaceBook activity feed only shows up in my sidebar if I am
   NOT logged into FaceBook. I see the activity box there with a button that says
   I must be logged into FaceBook to see my friend’s activity. Unfortunately, as
   soon as I click to log into FaceBook… poof… the activity feed completely disappears.
 * Can anyone advice how to fix this…
