OK, I've been staring at this thing for hours now, I've got all the Facebook API's, done everything on this page, etc, but there is no way of saving it, where is the save button?

The usual cause for this is that your install is running out of php memory. There's a number of possible ways to increase the php_memory_limit value, but the right way to do it depends on your hosting service. I recommend asking them or looking through their help files and seeing how to increase the php_memory_limit. I recommend increasing it to at least 64 MB of php memory.

php_memory_limit has been increased to 64mb and still no good?

Is there a screen shot of what this page should look like?

Normally, there's the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page. If it's not displaying, then something is cutting out before that.

Do you see both the boxes on the right hand side? The top one has my info, the bottom one has the feed from Facebook's developer site.

I see the two boxes off to the side (Facebook's developer site box has nothing in it), but no save button.

    Well, now we're getting somewhere.

It sounds like your server is blocked from connecting to Facebook. That bottom box is supposed to get a feed from Facebook (specifically, this one: http://www.facebook.com/feeds/api_messages.php ), and display some of it there.

If your server can't connect to Facebook to get the feed, then it's unlikely the plugin will work anyway. Might want to ask your host what's blocking you.

If I use an RSS widget to access that feed (http://www.facebook.com/feeds/api_messages.php) it connects OK, does that indicate if the server is blocked or not?

That is an RSS widget on the settings page.

Literally, here's the code in sfc-base.php:
    <?php @wp_widget_rss_output('http://www.facebook.com/feeds/api_messages.php',array('show_date' => 1, 'items' => 10) ); ?>

Well I think it was a php memory problem. I got it working after deactivating all my plugins, but it has too many issues which I can't get my head around:

      could post comments, OK
      couldn't register using FB login
connect using FB kept going to WP register page with no FB info

    The WP site allows registrations.
It may have something to do with the app. I attempted to make, don't know.
It looks good on other peoples' sites, but I am too frustrated with it.
    Thanks.

The SFC-Register plugin handles registration. SFC-Login just handles login.

`I have installed it on a sub-domain, for testing. I have Base, register and login installed. When you click on the FB connect button a small window pops up with the following URL:

Do you have cookies disabled in your browser or something?

No, if I did I wouldn't be able to stay logged in on other WP, or other sites.
Is it possible that it has something to do with the half-assed way I setup the FB app.?

That weird session key it's passing strikes me as just strange. Never seen that before.

I dunno, could be a bad setup for the FB App.
