Simple Custom Event Outcomes Help

    I have a niche sport that has very simple scoring…

    Player vs player, no teams, point based.

    Most points takes #1, second most points #2, etc etc

    Can’t figure out how to set this up in the Event Outcomes. 🙁 Do I need to purchase the pro version to set this up?

    Hi!

    Thanks for reaching out!

    In your case you’ll need to manually set the “position” for your players as we don’t have ordering besides the most / least points (so only first and last players would be auto ranked).

    But in your case you’ll need to add each of your positions in your event outcomes, then you can use these as the league table columns to calculate your points as well.

    So in event outcomes… I make:
    #1
    #2
    #3
    etc.

    How do I manually set the position for each player? How do I make a player #1 in the event? This is where I’m getting lost a bit. Thanks again for your help. 🙂

    Hi!

    Yes, that’s correct.

    As for assigning the players to each position, once you create the event outcomes you’ll be able to set the players to these outcomes when creating your events.

    Thanks Roch, it’s coming along… but it’s not ordering the players based on the numbers on the results page. How do I properly order the players to show the correct order from #1 – #20?

    I don’t think we have some code for that though. You’ll need a bit of custom code.

    Hi,

    I’m searching for the exact same thing here.

    Is there a way to exlude the coding that determines that players are ranked alphabetically after you selected them?

    If I could select players in an specifik order and they are ranked like that in the event results it could solve my problem.
